A swashbuckling comedy romp is coming to Northallerton later this month in the form of the Allerton Players’ latest production.
The group is presenting The Three Musketeers: a comedy adventure by John Nicholson and Le Navet Bete at the Forum in Northallerton on November 23, 24 and 25, and promises that this fast-moving, funny, modern take on the classic adventure story will have the audience laughing out loud.
Director Katie Bowie, who also plays one of the musketeers, said: “With over 30 different characters being played by the 14-strong cast and an all-female set of musketeers, this fresh version of the well-known tale will keep people thoroughly entertained.
"It’s got it all - adventure, romance, swordfights and lots of laughs.”
Tickets can be booked at www.forumnorthallerton.org.uk or by phoning the Forum box office on 01609 776230. The show includes adult humour and occasional strong language.
