After months of preparation and hard work, two impressive cascades of poppies have been added to the clock tower of St Matthew's Church in Leyburn, to mark the annual Remembrance period.
Supported by the Leyburn and District Branch of the Royal British Legion, members of the community joined forces with various crafting and knitting groups including the Knit and Natter group from Leyburn Arts & Community Centre to add 1,200 poppies onto two displays.
This followed the success of the displays mounted around Leyburn's war memorial last year, which are again on display.
The eye-catching cascades flowing down the church tower are visible from the market square.
