Five people have been taken to hospital following a crash between two cars on a rural North Yorkshire road.
Emergency services convened on Moor Lane between Yafforth and Streetlam near Northallerton just after 8:30am this morning (November 14) following reports of a crash.
In total, five people were taken to James Cook University Hospital after five ambulances rushed to the scene including one patient by air ambulance.
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed they attended the incident.
A spokesperson said: “We received an emergency call at 8.37am on Tuesday morning to report a two-vehicle collision on Moor Lane at Little Langton.
“Five ambulances, two air ambulances and a team leader were dispatched to the scene. Five patients were conveyed to James Cook Hospital (one of these by air ambulance) and one person was discharged at the scene.”
North Yorkshire Police has been contacted for comment.
