A top North East hotel welcomed the stars of a Darlington pantomime for a photocall as they prepare for this year's season.
Pop and musical theatre star Gareth Gates taking the lead role in this year's Christmas family spectacular, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, at Darlington Hippodrome.
Gates will play the Prince alongside The Chase’s Jenny Ryan as The Wicked Queen, the humorous Josh Benson as Muddles, Marina Lawrence-Mahrra taking on the angelic character of Snow White, and Jamie Jones as Mrs Nelly Nightnurse.
Redworth Hall Hotel, between Newton Aycliffe and Shildon, recently welcomed the cast as the 17th century Jacobean Manor House's Baronial Hall became a photo backdrop for the stars of the show.
Audiences at this year's panto are promised striking sets and stunning song and dance - not to mention copious amounts of audience participation and laughter.
Heather Tarran-Jones, programming and development director of Darlington Hippodrome, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to have Gareth, Jenny, Josh, Marina and Jamie with us for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and I am sure they will be a great hit with audiences of all ages."
Tickets have gone on sale for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which is locally sponsored by BHP Law and Babul’s Darlington.
The run commences on December 8, finishing on December 31.
Early booking is recommended with further details available at www.darlingtonhippodrome.co.uk or by calling the box office at 01325-405405.
