A 32-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of today (Saturday) just minutes after police received a report of an attempted break-in on a Land Rover Discovery.
Officers from Cleveland Police were conducting patrols nearby and they were immediately dispatched to the Galley Hill area of Guisborough.

The man was arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference, and he was interviewed then bailed while further enquiries take place.
Acting Sergeant John Eeles said: “Your neighbourhood teams will continue to work proactively throughout the festive season - and beyond - to reassure Guisborough residents and tackle any offending taking place in our community."
