Tickets are on sale for a community pantomime that will feature a talented cast – and a goose called Priscilla.
Hawes Operatic Society will stage Mother Goose at the town's Market Hall from Wednesday, January 31 to Saturday, February 3 at 7.30pm, with an additional matinee show on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
The society has teamed up with Blue Boxt Productions and Tony Wilcock, production manager at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond for the show.
The theatre has also chipped in with the loan of Priscilla, a very large goose that lays golden eggs, which tread the boards there back in 2010.
The show is being produced by Amy Cockett, whose late father in law, John Cockett revived the Hawes Operatic Society nearly 60 years ago. He directed shows for 30 years, while this will be Amy's fourth in the hotseat.
Tickets can be purchased online www.ticketsource.co.uk/hawes-pantomime or in person at Feather and Fern Florists in Hawes. They are priced at £12 for adults and £8 for under16s.
