An air ambulance landed in Darlington yesterday (Friday, February 2), after a man was "injured" at a property in the centre of town.
Yesterday, emergency services, including ambulances and a helicopter from the Great North Air Ambulance Service swarmed St Cuthbert's Way.
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a man injured at an address in St Cuthbert's Way, Darlington, at 3.17pm on 2 February.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew and requested support from Great North Air Ambulance Service. The patient was transported by road to James Cook Hospital for further treatment."
The police have been contacted for more information.
