A new trail race series is being launched in North Yorkshire.
"Stately Trails," from Richmond-based company DalesRunner, will host the first event in the series on the evening of Thursday, May 23, at Constable Burton Hall, near Leyburn.
Competitors can opt for a 5km or 10km course, and there will be a children's fun run before the main races.
Competitors must be aged 16-plus to enter the 10km and 13-plus to enter the 5km. Both start at 7pm, while the Fun Run starts at 6.30pm.
Jess Young, from DalesRunner, said: “We are delighted to be working with Constable Burton Hall to create this unique opportunity to run at the estate. The beautiful grounds at Constable Burton provide a fantastic trail course which we know will appeal to a range of runners, from novices, through to experienced racers.”
Entries are available via the DalesRunner website at www.dalesrunner.co.uk.
Two further Stately Trails events are planned for later in the year at other venues in the area.
DalesRunner was launched in 2021 and holds events throughout the year in the northern Dales.
