Make Your Mark, run by the Youth Parliament makes its return, with Jack Parvin as its ambassador at Queen Elizabeth 6th Form College.

The Make Your Mark project gives a voice to the young people of Britain, with over 434 000 voters and over 780 schools involved in 2022, with even a higher turnout being expected this year.

The students have been asked to pick the topic of improvement which they like the most or would like to be improved. Some of the picks included Education & Learning, Culture, Media and Sport or Health & Well-being among many others.

According to the Make Your Mark organisation, as of 2022, UK Consultation with the Member of Youth Parliament election in order to ensure that the voices of young people in the UK are being heard.

Jack is very involved with youth politics, candidating in the Youth Parliament Election for Darlington, where all the students are given an opportunity to vote on. When being asked why does he take part in the project and why does he promote it, he humbly claimed:

‘I’m doing it because I'd like to make a difference to young people in Darlington. I love the community in Darlington, I go here regularly on weekends, I commute in from Teesside, I love the area and I feel like I want to give back everything Darlington has given me’

Jack is one of many who wishes to make an impact, and with having a voice in the councils and consultations at such a young age being much more accessible, many others can get involved too!
