A teenager has been taken to hospital following a crash.
Cleveland Police confirmed they were called to a collision on Hutton Lane in Guisborough at around 8pm on Sunday (March 17) after a car reportedly crashed into a wall.
A 17-year-old girl was taken to hospital with injuries believed to be minor.
Cleveland Fire Brigade (CFB) confirmed one person was extricated by crews before being handed to the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS)
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Shortly before 8pm on Sunday 17 March police were called to a collision on Hutton Lane in Guisborough involving a car that was reported to have collided with a wall.
“A 17-year-old girl was taken to hospital by paramedics with injuries believed to be minor.”
A NEAS spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Hutton Lane in Guisborough shortly before 8pm on 17 March.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew and a clinical team leader, and transported one patient to James Cook Hospital for further treatment."
The fire service confirmed they deployed two fire engines to the scene of the incident.
A CFB spokesperson said: “Cleveland Fire Brigade were called on 17/03/2024 at 20.20 to a Road Traffic Collision (RTC) on Hutton Lane, Guisborough. “Two fire engines were in attendance from Grangetown and Skelton. One vehicle RTC.
“One casualty extricated by crews and handed over to NEAS. Crews made the scene safe. The stop call came in at 21.21.”
