Hundreds of bikers, lots of them in fancy dress, flooded the roads this Easter Sunday as the popular Durham Easter Egg Run returned for 2024.
The mass ride-out saw hundreds of bikers ride through Darlington and Durham to hospitals to deliver eggs to poorly children.
Just before the ride began organiser, Tony Hudspith said: "We are expecting more bikes than ever this year, and bigger crowds, we've gone above and beyond this year and businesses have been donating, we even have 59 tickets to Infinite Air."
"The streets are going to be lined, and we are absolutely buzzing, its out of this world. So much planning and today it's all coming together."
"I hope everybody rides safe and gets home safe and that the children in the hospital have an enjoyable Easter, because that's why we do it."
Crowds of bikers left from the Tesco Extra in Dragonville at 10am on Easter Sunday morning, (March 31) travelling en-masse through Durham city centre to the Cock of the North roundabout and down the A167 to Darlington Memorial Hospital.
After a pit stop at the hospital where they delivered eggs to the children's ward and children came out to see the bikes, the convoy made their way to the University Hospital of North Durham where they delivered more eggs.
Every year, hundreds of people line the streets to witness the spectacular sights and wave to the bikers and this year was no different.
