Today, people across the North East are heading to the polls to cast their votes in this years local elections - but when will those all-important results be revealed?
Voters this year have the chance to elect the first ever North East Mayor, re-elect the Tees Valley Mayor as well as decide who will oversee police forces as the Police and Crime Commissioner.
Polling stations opened at 7am this morning (May 2) and voters have the chance to cast their ballot until 10pm this evening.
Most counts will begin tomorrow morning with results set to be declared throughout the day.
Here are the elections taking place this year - and details of when you can expect to find out the winners.
Tees Valley Mayor
Who's running?
- Ben Houchen - Conservative Party
- Chris McEwan - Labour Party
- Simon Thorley - Liberal Democrats
Where is the count?
The counting of votes will take place in:
- The Dolphin Centre
- Thornaby Pavillion
- Mill House Leisure Centre
- Middlesbrough Sports Village
- Redcar and Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart
What time is the result expected?
A final result is expected at 12:30pm and will be announced at Thornaby Leisure Centre.
North East Mayor
Who's running?
- Kim McGuinness - Labour and Co-Operative Party
- Guy Renner-Thompson - Conservative and Unionist Party
- Aidan John King - Liberal Democrats
- Andrew Gray - Green Party
- Jamie Driscoll - Independent
- Paul Donaghy - Reform UK
Where is the count?
Counts for the Mayor election are taking place across the region but will all be fed into Silksworth Sports Centre in Sunderland.
What time is the result expected?
Counts begin at 10am, and a result is expected no later than 2pm.
Durham Police and Crime Commissioner
Who's running?
- Joy Allen - Labour and Co-Operative Party
- Nigel Frederick Boddy - Liberal Democrats
- Robert Potts - Conservative and Union Party
Where is the count?
Spennymoor Leisure Centre.
What time is the result expected?
The result is expected at 5pm.
Cleveland Police and Crime Commissioner
Who's running?
- Matt Storey - Labour and Co-Operative Party
- Steve Turner - Conservative and Unionist Party
Where is the count?
The counts will take place at:
- Thornaby Pavillion
- Mill House Leisure Centre
- Middlesbrough Sports Village
- Redcar and Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart
What time is the result expected?
The final result will be declared at Thornaby Pavilion by 5pm.

Who's running?
- Keane Duncan - Conservative Party
- David Skaith - Labour Party
- Paul Haslam - Independent
- Kevin Foster - Green Party

Where is the count?
Counts are taking place across the authority but will be collated at Harrogate Conference Centre.
What time is the result expected?
A final declaration is expected at around 3pm.
