RAF jets have been spotted over the region's skies, as night-time flying is expected for the rest of the week.
The jets, which are thought to be Hawk planes, were seen over Teesside by photographer Simon McCabe on Monday (June 3) and Tuesday (June 4).
In the images captured by Mr McCabe, several jets can be seen travelling over Stockton, Middlesbrough and parts of the Teesside coast.
They were also seen travelling over Darlington, County Durham and North Yorkshire.
Despite the planes being seen in the daytime, it's expected that people in Teesside will hear an increase in nighttime flying exercises for the remainder of the week.

A spokesperson for the RAF said: There might be increased flying later than normal around the region this week as RAF Typhoons from RAF Coningsby supported by Teesside Airport's Draken fleet take part in routine night flying.
"The night flying got underway today and RAF Typhoons will be flying between the hours of 16:45 to 01:00 every day until early Friday morning.
"These routine night exercises take place several times a year from both Coningsby in Lincolnshire and Lossiemouth in Scotland."
