The Funny Way To Be Comedy Club at Barnard Castle is set to host acclaimed comedian Mark Watson's new UK tour, 'Search', on June 15.
Watson, known for his appearances in TV shows Taskmaster and QI, and as one third of the YouTube cult favourite No More Jockeys, will present a show that uniquely tackles the universal search for meaning.
This performance, with an abundance of jokes, promises to be a different experience every night.
Throughout his career, Watson has earned multiple awards, including an Edinburgh Festival Award.
His work spans from hosting programmes on BBC Four and Radio 4 to surviving Bear Grylls' Celebrity Island.
Head of Funny Way To Be Comedy, Peter Dixon, spoke about the excitement of Watson's return, saying, "Mark was one of the first ‘big name’ acts we booked way back in 2013.
"Since then, he has been ever present on TV, radio and on stage where he is legendary at comedy festivals throughout the world.
"It’s a real thrill to welcome him back to Barnard Castle where I know he loves performing."
Tickets for the performance can be found at www.funnywaytobe.com for £20.
