DARLINGTON Farmers Auction Mart held a complete and unreserved dispersal sale of tractors, farm and commercial machinery on behalf of PBC Ltd, Hall Farm, Redmarshall, last week.

This was an outstanding dispersal sale on June 7 of immaculate and modern machinery, which attracted buyers from far and wide.

The weather stayed dry, albeit somewhat windy at times, however, nothing stopped a large crowd of people assembling on site.

There was no shortage of buyers and bidders combined with a host both on the telephone and on internet. The 147 lots were duly dispersed across all four of the home nations to 61 different purchasers.

The top three lots were the superbly maintained 2021 registered tractors with the John Deere’s reaching £97,000 and £94,000 ahead of the JCB Fastrac at £90,500.

A fabulous Lemkin combination drill topped the trailed machinery selling for £57,500 with the immaculate Case quadrant baler also impressing at £42,500.

A remarkable 20-year-old John Deere combine harvester surpassed pre-sale expectations when it climbed all the way to £35,000 and the three excellent Richard Western dump trailers attracted frantic bidding and sold between £17,000 and £24,000.

A spokesman said: "It was a great day with some wonderful lots going under the hammer. Thanks to everyone who supported us and the Baker family.

"All here at DfAM wish Paul and Victoria all the best for their future."
