Police are appealing for information after a toilet door was kicked and broken at a North Yorkshire hotel.

The incident took place in The Talbot Hotel, Richmond, at 10.49pm on Saturday, April 11.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged about 28 or 29 years old, about 6ft 1in tall. At the time he was wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts with a yellow symbol and grey trainers.

He has a tattoo on his left forearm, upper left arm and right leg. He was with two other men, although they are not believed to have committed any offences.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "We are particularly appealing for anyone who may know a man pictured on CCTV, as he may have important information that could assist the investigation.
