Northallerton Variety Company is in the process of distributing the profit of £4,800 on its last pantomime, staged in January, to local charities.
Some of the panto characters met up with members of the team from Bloodrun EVS outside the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton to present them with a cheque for £500.
A spokesperson for the variety company said: "Talking to the team we learnt a lot about the range of work they do to support the NHS services, not only locally but across the country as well.
"They do vital work transferring blood supplies and samples between different NHS locations on both a routine and emergency basis. You can find out more about their work by visiting www.bloodrun.co.uk."
The variety company has also donated to the holistic care department at the Friarage and also palliative care, both departments receiving cheques for £500.
