A runner needed medical help after being bitten by a dog at a North Yorkshire beauty spot.
Police are now appealing for the owner of the dog to come forward.
The incident happened at 6.45pm on Saturday, July 6 at Fewston Reservoir, near Harrogate.
Police said two women were walking two large dogs, and one of these on the lead jumped up at the male runner and bit him, causing a minor injury. The exact breed of the dog is unknown at this stage.
The man sought medical treatment following the incident.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police: "We are appealing for any witnesses and for the owner of the dog to make contact so we can discuss the incident.
