The Summer Sounds Music Festival returned to Guisborough at the weekend.
Guisborough Rugby Club's ground hosted a full programme of live entertainment from some of the UK's best tribute bands and artists on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The fine weather helped with the fun, apart from a sharp shower on Saturday, which didn’t seem to deter the partygoers. Many came well prepared for the event with seats, umbrellas, and covers, along with plentiful supplies of drinks and food, although there were food and drink stalls available.
There were some extravagant costumes on show that had obviously taken much time to design and fit.
Friday was a "Night of Legends", hosted by DJ Murray Mint, featuring tribute acts to Elton John, ABBA, Elvis, Michael Jackson, George Michael and Wham, plus support from local bands.
Saturday was the "Rock & Pop" main event featuring tribute acts to Oasis, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, The Beautiful South, Take That, and Lady Gaga, plus support from local band, The Fallen.
On Sunday, the festival welcomed all the family with the Summer Sounds Kidz Concert and a full day of pop tributes, including Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Pink, and Harry Styles, plus support from local bands.
There was plenty of entertainment to keep everybody interested with a funfair, street entertainers, festival stalls, cocktail bars, street food and stalls selling hats, flashing beads and comic masks. And to round each evening off, there was a grand fireworks display.
