The events co-ordinator of a performing arts charity is in training for a ten-mile challenge to raise much-needed funds.
Jennifer Saggers will take on the Yorkshire Ten Mile in York on Sunday, October 20 in aid of Leyburn-based Blueboxt.
The creative and performing arts charity provides a range of opportunities for young people in and around the Yorkshire Dales.
“I am passionate about offering opportunities to young people that are accessible, closer to home and provide the opportunities for young people that perhaps they wouldn't be able to take part in otherwise,” said Jennifer.
“We are hoping to expand the offering, branching out into school holiday activity days, Christmas experiences, and family shows.
“Any donations small or large to help me reach my goal will be greatly appreciated. I am raising vital funds to help build brand awareness and build a community of families and individuals accessing the opportunities available through our charity.”
