The scene of the crash on the A167 on Monday
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a road smash which left a 53-year-old woman injured.
The accident happened at about 9am on Monday, on the A167 on the Northallerton side of Little Smeaton.
A bronze Mini Cooper travelling from Northallerton towards the village left the road and the female driver was treated at the scene by paramedics. She did not need hospital treatment.
A blue saloon travelling in the opposite direction is believed to have been involved in the accident . The driver initially stopped at the scene but left before emergency services arrived.
