A lorry got stuck under a busy Darlington bridge - just two weeks after another van smashed into it and collapsed.
A picture from the scene on Wednesday afternoon shows a large white lorry wedged underneath the low bridge on Albert Hill, just off North Road.
The incident left the road blocked off to motorists either side, with a smaller van in the distance seen parked across the road.
An eyewitness described how the lorry was eventually released after roughly half an hour after a passer by helped guide the driver.
This incident - which took place at about 2pm - comes roughly two weeks after a lorry was left both crumpled and collapsed after smashing into the bridge.
The bridge has been prone to several incidents - including both crashes and lorries getting stuck underneath the low bridge - of the years, including one in 2013 where East Coast Main Line trains were delayed as a result.
It is believed that the incident on Wednesday only lasted around 30 minutes, with motorists then once again flowing freely through the route.
