Residents, businesses and charities got creative as more than 40 different designs battled it out for the prizes in an annual scarecrow festival.
Guisborough Town Pride asked who could produce the best scarecrow in the town in the first week of August.
The competition attracted more than40 enthusiastic entries from the town’s businesses, organisations and private houses - and there was plenty of invention on show.
Eventually it was decided that there would be three joint winners, Teesside Hospice, Guisborough Library, and TNT Fitness.
There were also two runners-up with the scarecrows in Diamond Heaven on Church Street and Children in Distress.
Trophies were awarded to the winners and runners-up with several trophies donated by J Taylor’s Trophy shop in Guisborough.
