Police today (Saturday September 14) appealed for information after a car was apparently reversed into the doorway of a house.

Two suspects who are believed to have fled from the Audi are also sought by the Cleveland force following the incident in Stockton, yesterday evening (Friday September 13).

The front of the house in Daventry Avenue was damaged after the Audi car was shunted backwards into the door of the property.

Following the incident the blue vehicle was left in situ and the car's occupants left the scene, shortly after 7pm.

Emergency services attended the scene and the immediate area was cordoned off with police tape while initial inquiries began, but it was said the house was unoccupied at the time.
