The cast and crew of a County Durham panto are ready for a busy programme of Christmas festivities, as they prepare to star in a production of 'Aladdin'.
Between Monday, December 16 and Tuesday, December 24, visitors to The Witham in Barnard Castle will be transported to a magical world - with the event promising an "action-packed production filled with stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and hilarious comedy".
Starring Eleaner Alderson, Justin Ward and Victoria West among others, the Panto cast and crew enjoyed a launch event last Friday (September 20) outside The Witham.
During the launch event, the cast was joined by two local schools, Green Lane Church of England Primary School, and St Mary's RC Primary School with Little Wren's Nursery in Barnard Castle, with the children enjoying the opportunity to meet cast members.
The notes for the show, from Tom Rolfe Productions, read: "Dust off your flying carpet and take a trip to Twankey’s Laundry as professional pantomime returns to The Witham Christmas 2024. Aladdin – may all your Christmas wishes come true."
Tickets for the production of 'Aladdin' are available here.
