Excitement is building for a new after-hours LEGO event in Darlington.
LEGO lovers will be able to unleash their inner child by taking part in fun and quirky building challenges at Hopetown’s Brick Journeys: After Hours LEGO exhibition.
Visitors will journey into a brick world of transport in the Grade-II-listed Carriage Works at Hopetown for the unique event, which will also see visitors take part in a LEGO themed game led by compere and entertainer Lee Morris.
Before diving head first into construction, people will be able to engross themselves in the transport-themed exhibition, which includes models of the Oulton Hall, the LNER Azuma, as well as a LEGO recreation of Locomotion No. 1.
Also featured are a 12ft Saturn 5 space rocket, an international airport with full LEGO runway, a fishing trawler and hot air balloons.
Those taking part can also enjoy a soft or alcoholic drink or two and a selection of snacks from the pop-up bar.
