Guisborough held its Autumn Chaloner Street Market on Sunday, with almost 40 stalls selling all kinds of goods.
Fortunately, the weather was fine but cool and many came to enjoy the event, which was organised by the Friends of Chaloner Street. Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council assisted by closing off the road.
As well as the stalls, there was entertainment with music and street artists, and all the shops and cafes on and surrounding Chaloner Street opened their doors.
There were, of course, several food stalls, with treats on sale including pies, vegetables, cakes, biscuits, and sauces, as well as quite a few handicraft stalls, offering a wide range of handmade goods, not only from Guisborough but from throughout Teesside.
There was a Greyhound Rescue stall, local artist, James McGairy, and several speciality stalls with home-made jewellery and artefacts. The entertainment began with local singer Beth Miller, entertainers Professor Gindolf and Igor, and then costumed figures from Toy Story roamed amongst the crowd, delighting the children.
