Bedale Bonfire takes place on Saturday, November 2 in Bedale Hall park.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm and the fireworks start at 7pm, with a spectacular display set to music.
Catering will be organised by the Bedale Banquet, with hot food and drinks available from 5pm.
Even spokesperson Paul Hodgson said: “ It’s the biggest display in the area and people come for miles to enjoy this free event.
"It is organised by a dedicated group of volunteers with fireworks by Reaction Fireworks; it is paid for by collections on the night and grants from Bedale Town Council, Aiskew Parish Council and Bedale & Villages Community Forum.”
In addition to the main car parks there will be a park and ride system from Bedale Camping & Caravan park (DL8 1RF) and Wensleydale Railway runs a special train from Leyburn www.wensleydale.hops.org.uk/tickets/special-events.
Updates can be seen on www.facebook.com/bedalecommunitybonfire/ and donations can be made before or after the event through Just Giving www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/bedalecommunitybonfire.
