Whitby was once again taken over by all things goth and spooky this weekend.
The seaside town was filled with all manner of people dressed in intricate costumes, scary masks, and gothic attire for the biannual Whitby Goth Weekend from November 1-3.
Described as one of the world’s “premier Goth events” by organisers the alternative festival was first held in 1994 as a small meet-up of Goths and has since spiralled in popularity.
Whitby is understood to have been chosen to host the event due to its links with Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
If you missed out this year - fear not, as the event will be back from April 24 to April 26, 2025.
Here are pictures from the weekend - can you spot yourself?
