A pub near Saltburn that has been closed since 2023 is set to go under the hammer with a guide price of £175,000.
The Station Hotel, located in High Street, Boosbeck, is being sold at auction by estate agents Rook Matthews Sayer.
The mixed-use, two-storey property comprises a commercial ground floor and a two-bedroom flat on the first floor and the building, which was formerly a nursery and public house, has a total floor area of 207 square metres (2,230 square feet).
Situated in a "prominent position", the estate agents have noted that the property could be converted into a residential space, subject to planning permission.
The auction, scheduled for December 12, 2024, will be conducted under certain terms and conditions, as outlined on the Agents Property Auction website.
Each property in the auction has a guide price and is also subject to a reserve price.
The guide price is where bidding starts, but the reserve price is the minimum amount the seller will accept.
This figure is not disclosed and remains confidential between the seller and the auctioneer.
It may be up to 10% higher than the guide price.
In addition, the successful buyer is required to pay a fee of £2,000 plus VAT, totalling £2,400.
