A family has celebrated a remarkable milestone of having five generations of women.
90-year-old, Sylvia Easton, from Loftus, had the pleasure of meeting her three-month-old great-great-grandchild, Isobelle Emily, when the family got to all meet up to celebrate Sylvia's birthday.
It's not often a family spans five generations and even rarer that they are all women. But for this family, they are all so grateful for the experience.
Baby Isobelle Emily's arrival was especially significant for the family as she joins a lineage of four other generations of women who have shaped and cherished their family's history.
Evie Grace is named after her late great grandfather's mother.
Isobelle Emily is named after her Auntie and her Auntie, Emily Sylvia is named after her great-grandmother.
Emily Sylvia said: "My great-grandmother is just so proud to have a big family full of amazing women.
"Sylvia has recently turned 90 and you really would never think she's a day over 50. I hope the genetics carry on to the rest of us as she is just such a powerhouse.
"She recently knitted poppies for Remembrance day and also knits blankets for premature babies and donates them to hospitals. She still takes care of her own garden and cooks for everyone and really just inspires us all.
"As a family we pride ourselves on having a lot of great women as we all just have such a close connection. The world can be a hard place for women but we all have each others backs and its such a great thing to have.
"We are just so lucky to experience this as we are aware not everyone does get to see five generations with their family."
