Members of the public are invited to Romanby WI Hall, near Northallerton, for a re-imagining of a Women’s Institute Christmas Fair.
The event, on Sunday, December 1, is called Baubles and Butties and is now in its second incarnation.
Visitors to the event can enjoy shopping among the stalls selling handmade festive gifts and decorations. Games including a tombola and "guess the weight of the Christmas cake" will entertain.
Organiser Debbie Rainbird said: “Baubles and Butties is not just a Christmas Fair. It’s a community event where people gather, chat and get to know each other. Romanby WI has 80 members and a thriving craft group.
"We can’t wait to show off our creations, but that’s not all. We are also welcoming other artists to the event selling jewellery, homeware, and even house plants from the well-known Queen of Green. Live Christmas trees will be on sale. And of course it wouldn’t be a WI event without a cake stall.”
Baubles and Butties is open from 10am to 2pm at Romanby WI Hall on Sunday (DL7 8BJ).
Funds raised will go towards the ongoing maintenance of Romanby WI Hall.
