THE Tees Valley Law Society raised £1,795 for Teesside Hospice at its annual dinner at Hardwick Hall near Sedgefield.
Simon Catterall, society president, presented the cheque to Maureen Thompson, chief executive of Teesside Hospice at Mincoff Jacksons Law Firm in Stockton.
Also present was Jennifer Graham from Northumbria Water Property Solutions who sponsored the dinner where the top prize in a raffle was a weekend in a luxury lodge at Keilder water.
Mr Catterall said: “Teesside Hospice provide compassionate support for the sick and dying and our Society is honoured to be associated with such a worthy cause.”
The society represents 600 solicitors in the North East.
