A COMPANY celebrating its 90th anniversary has appointed a new director.
Marc Dale joined international pump manufacturer and distributor Tomlinson Hall and Co straight from school 20 years ago.
He rose to become pump sales manager and now, aged 36, has been promoted to the board of directors.
The Billingham-based company was founded in 1919 as a general engineering company but today specialises in pumps, power transmission and engineering supplies through its international distribution network.
It holds an open day on June 12 to start its anniversary celebrations with customers and suppliers,which will conclude with a twilight cruise on theTeesside Princess with champagne reception, barbecue buffet and entertainment.
The company supplies a wide range of industry including land reclamation, pharmaceutical, brewery and distillation, sewage, remediation, and marine and nuclear.
