A WITCH took to a forest zip wire to promote a ghost trail.
Dalby Forest, on the North York Moors near Pickering, will stage a night of entertainment for Hallowe’en on Wednesday, October 31.
It will be kicked off on the day with a witch, who will fly across the forest on a broom stick on the aerial course zip line.
Aspiring actors from Scarborough’s Yorkshire Coast College will lead the ghost trail through the forest, which will be frequented by spooks and spirits.
People will also be able to see captive bats up close and there will also be children's crafts.
Ghosts walks start at 5.30pm and last about 40 minutes and are suitable for children.
Booking is essential and can be done by ringing the visitor centre on 01751-460295.
The cost is £5 per person.
