BUSINESSES in the Dales are being invited to informal networking and training events organised by the Dales Business Forum.
Forum co-ordinator Gillian Howells said: “At our conference in Middleham we discovered that there was a demand for more events that support and develop local businesses.”
The taster events will introduce people to local services and training that can help improve their business.
The forum has been set up by local business people who saw a need for a support network for growing businesses.
Ms Howells added: “We’ve an incredible wealth of experience and expertise among members so the forum has set up the not-for-profit Yorkshire Business Aid, to give businesses access to this valuable and affordable local resource.”
There will also be an introduction to social media in business in the two-hour event, and the Yorkshire Markets and Dales Business Directory will be involved, as well as Yorkshire Business Aid.
The first event takes place at 6pm on Wednesday at the Fountain in Hawes, followed by the Station in Richmond on Wednesday, November 21, and the Buck at Reeth on Thursday, December 6.
The events costs £5 and are open to anyone in business including those thinking of starting up.
