A SERIES of estate walkabouts will start this month in Richmond and Colburn.
Set up with Richmondshire District Council’s tenant panel, the walkabouts deal with issues that make a difference to local people.
Council officers, councillors and tenants walk the estates to identify and deal with problems in a bid to keep them clean, tidy and safe.
They take place in Richmond next Friday, from the play area at Whitcliffe Grange, walking to Reeth Road, Coronation Place, Whitcliffe Place, Whitcliffe Terrace, Willance Grove and Whitcliffe Grange.
On Tuesday, October 30, walkers meet at Richmond police station, walking to Alma Place, Olav Road, I’Anson Road, Frances Road, Eastfield Road, Tudor Road, Earl Edwin Drive, St Agatha’s, Church Wynd and Queens Court.
In Colburn, a walk will take place on Thursday from the village hall, walking to Colburn Lane, Constantine Avenue, Constantine Grove, Meadowfield Road and Grange Road.
Anyone wishing to get involved should meet at the start point at 10am.
