THE Angel Inn at Gilling West has reopened after being closed for several weeks.
At the helm is Debbie Richardson, a local who already has a strong following from her time providing food at The Holly Hill, The Fox Hall Inn and Richmond Golf Club, among others. Her menu features homemade traditional snacks, meals and desserts, including what is considered by many to be her signature dish, Steak and Ale Pie.
With the invaluable help of Sam Birkbeck and family, she has given the Angel a redecoration and refurbishment, including new carpets and the installation of a log-burning stove.
