Sir, – On behalf of the Hillside Scout group executive committee, sincere thanks to all the people who supported our recent entertainment evening with pie and peas at Borrowby Village Hall.
Special thanks to Terry Starr and Ralph Bradley from Thornton le Moor who played guitars and sang music from the 60s and 70s.
All who attended agreed that the standard of the entertainment was outstanding and we are grateful for the generosity of the duo who donated their services for the evening to support the Scout Group.
£468 was raised to be put towards the new headquarters which is in the final phase of building.
