Sir, – I would like to take the opportunity to thank the vast numbers of your readers who have supported The Dales Diary television series over the last 17 years.
Changes in ITV’s regional programming policy have meant that our long journey through the magnificent northern hill country is to come to an end on that channel when the present series runs its course.
