ONLY six riders out of the 53 starters jumped clear in the first round of the Pony Bronze League 148cm & Under Final at the British Showjumping National & Academy Championships at the NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.
With a successful first round under their belt, Zoe Shields, from Darlington, and Fast Fun, known as Fun at home, took the jump off by storm finishing the class as the only clear round.
A proud Zoe said: “Just amazing, my first big win!”
Rebecca Norman and Trevadlock Golden Pearl took second place, with Bertie Travis and Atlantic Hill taking third.
The Bronze and Silver Pony/Rider Combination League was introduced by British Showjumping in 2014 and allows all pony riders to be able to track their progress on a regional and national league table.
