THE Riding for the Disabled Association's Unicorn Centre at Hemlington has been holding a monthly winter dressage series since last October, and the March competition resulted in the awarding of the points championship after a close fight all through the winter.
Results. - Prelim class 2: 1 Kate Seymour on Puff; 2 Laura Hampton on Phantom Vigoroso; =3 Laura Hampton on Phantom Nabora and Gemma Gutcher on Flex.
Novice class 3: 1 Gemma Gutcher on Flex; 2 Louise Atkinson on Henry; =3 Verena Hoerich on Susi and Rachel Hughes on Max in a Million.
Yard manager Heidi Hutchinson said: "This series is very important in our annual fundraising calendar, and we are very grateful to our class sponsors, the Tees Alliance Group, and Topflight Equestrian Saddlery, who are supplying all the rosettes.
"Our own riders and students enjoy taking part and gaining experience in a competitive atmosphere, but still on home ground."
The summer dressage series starts on Tuesday, April 29.
