Croft Circuit is set for another bumper extravaganza of motorsport in 2023 after confirming its event calendar for next season.
The popular North Yorkshire venue will host a minimum of 13 race meetings which will see action on two, three and four wheels from April to October, including the annual visit of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship in July, meaning next year looks to be bigger and better than ever with tickets now on sale.
As has been the tradition in recent years, the North East Motorcycle Racing Club will kick off the new motorsport season on April 1/2 ahead of the 750 Motor Club’s first of two visits to Croft on April 15/16.
Packed grids and furious action will be the order at both the British Racing & Sports Car Club and British Automobile Racing Club meetings which will take centre stage on May 6/7 and May 20/21 respectively before the BSB stars present and future will feature in the No Limits race meeting on June 10/11. The feeder series for British Superbikes will once again produce edge-of-the-seat motorcycle racing action in a weekend not to be missed.
June 24/25 sees the second visit of the popular 750 Motor Club classes before it’s the turn of the local Darlington and District Motor Club who will host their meeting on 8/9 July and which will feature an expanded number of local competitors contesting the local championships, including the well-supported Northern Sports and Saloon Car series.
The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship is undoubtedly set to be one of the headline events of the year and in 2023, Britain’s premier four-wheeled motorsport series speeds into Croft at the start of the summer holidays on July 29/30. Three blockbuster encounters, with a capacity grid and a number of exciting new rules evolving for next season, will headline a pivotal weekend in the series whilst there will also be the usual thrills and spills from the TOCA support package.
Hot on the heels of the BTCC will be a second visit by the British Automobile Racing Club on August 12/13 before the Historic Sports Car Club makes a welcome return to Croft on September 2/3 for a weekend of nostalgia, with attractions both on and off the track.
Further thrills and spills from the British Racing & Sports Car Club will follow two weeks later on September 16/17, before it’s the turn of bikes from yesteryear who will entertain the crowds in an action-packed weekend organised by the Classic Motor Cycle Club on September 30/October 1.
Rounding out Croft’s calendar of is the Classic Sports Car Club meeting on October 14 which will see a bygone era of four-wheel machinery battling against each other for outright honours. And whilst it has still to be confirmed, after its return this year after a three-year absence, it is hoped the Winter Stages Rally will feature again.
Tickets for all 2023 events are now available along with season passes and driving experiences.
Advance prices for all 12 club meetings cost £16 per adult, or £18 on the gate with accompanied children aged 15 and under admitted free as well as free parking and paddock access. There are no weekend tickets available for these meetings.
