A Darlington family has gone England mad ahead of the nation’s final with Spain in Germany on Sunday (July 14).
Julie Wright, 47, and her family have decorated their home on West Auckland Road in Darlington to show their support ahead of the game.
She said she believes the trophy is “coming home” and the family will be watching on from a bar in their garden on the day.
Mrs Wright added that people walking past her property have been left awestruck by the decorations.
She said “ [We just want] to support England. We’re all going to be here. It’s coming home.
“It brings the family together as well I suppose, doesn’t it?
“People go past all the time beeping their horns, shouting come on England. People go past, [it] puts a smile on their face.”
Giving her thoughts before the match, she predicted that England will take home the prize.
“We’re going to win, it’s definitely coming home.”
Football fever seems to have fully taken hold of the region following England’s Triumph over the Netherlands in the semi-final on Wednesday.
England’s players will kick-off against Spain at 5pm on Sunday at Berlin’s Olympiastadion, with many fans hoping and praying that the Three Lions can finally bring it home.
