Northallerton finished fifth in the second division of the Yorkshire League after a hard-fought draw away to third-placed Dewsbury Kirklees on Saturday.
Northallerton started much the strong of the two teams, and took a deserved lead when player-of-thematch Hannah Chapman scored from a penalty corner.
They pressed for a second, but could not make the breakthrough, and allowed Dewsbury back into the match.
Jo Robinson made a lastditch clearance off the line, before a quick break left Northallerton outnumbered at the back, and Dewsbury equalised.
The second half saw more of the same, with Northallerton pressing, but unable to score, and Dewsbury looking dangerous on the break.
In the end, neither side could add to the scoreline and the match finished 1-1.
